We are looking for a Vegetation Artist to join our team. As a Vegetation Artist, your primary focus will be on designing and implementing a variety of plants, trees, foliage, and other natural elements to enhance the overall visual quality and realism of our virtual environments.
- Create high-quality vegetation assets, including plants, trees, shrubs, flowers, grass, and other organic elements, using industry-standard software and tools.
- Apply realistic textures, materials, and shaders to vegetation assets to achieve visually appealing and natural-looking results.
- Optimize vegetation assets to ensure efficient memory usage and optimal performance in real-time environments.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, techniques, and tools related to vegetation creation and real-time rendering.
Requirements and skills
- Proven work experience, and a strong portfolio showcasing your vegetation artwork.
- Excellent experience in 3D software (such as Maya, 3ds Max, or Blender) and vegetation creation tools (such as SpeedTree or similar).
- Familiarity with Unreal Engine and the constraints and requirements for optimizing assets for interactive experiences.
- Strong attention to detail and an eye for realism, form, color, and composition. Ability to replicate real-world vegetation and adapt it to stylized or artistic requirements.
- Excellent English skills.
